Prince Lionheart BoosterPOD Review

This booster is simple with plenty of room to grow. The top part is a soft plastic that gives some cushion but is very easy to clean up, the straps are all a sturdy nylon and use a very easy clip.What I really love about this product is that it has cushioning without taking away from the width of the chair. My son is off the charts in height and weight and at 20 months and he is still growing like a weed, so if you have big kids who still need boosters, this is a seat that will accommodate them. My only suggestion would be to make the straps easier to remove and put in the washing machine, I have just been cleaning them with some detergent and a damp cloth by hand.

Bumbo Baby Sitter - Yellow Review

We just had our yellow bumbo seat tested after hearing that other yellow bumbo seats were found to contain lead.Our yellow bumbo seat turned out to have unacceptable levels of Cadmium, a heavy metal that is a known carcinogen.Do not buy the yellow seats.There is a high likelihood that you will be exposing your baby to dangerous chemicals.If you already have a yellow bumbo, get it tested or if you can't do that, get rid of it.Here is a link to a blog about this issue:[...]

The other colors have not been shown to be positive for either lead or cadmium, so you should be fine purchasing a different color.

If you have a yellow bumbo seat, consider contacting the manufacturer and the Consumer Product Safety Commission to complain.It is an outrage that a seat for babies, advertised as non-toxic, is actually quite toxic and potentially dangerous.

Safety 1st Easy Care Swing Tray Booster Seat (6M - 4 Years) Review

This booster was given to me by my mother-in-law for my 13-month old son.I don't care for this one at all.The straps (to hold the seat onto the chair) loosen and they don't stay put.I turned my head to finish preparing his breakfast and he was (still intact in the seat but...) dangling off the front of the chair.The headrest doesn't even stay on seat-it continuously fell off (for the short time we used the seat).I would not recommend this one.

Summer Infant Secure Comfort Foam Booster Seat Review

After having highchairs that were hard to clean I wanted to find a booster that was easy to clean and move around from our house to g-parents and restaurants. This seat has worked great! Since it is one solid piece you only have to wipe it down and not all sorts of crevices and pieces. The foam material it is made out of is comfortable for my boys to sit on and it hasn't stained. The straps are easy to remove and wash in the sink or washing machine when needed. As for traveling, it is easy to remove and attach to seats, it's compact and even comes with a sturdy traveling case. I highly recommend this booster for any parent looking for a quick cleanup and ease of use.

Handysitt Child Chair Review

We purchased this chair after seeing so many tacky looking booster chairs in cheap plastic that looked difficult to clean and were very pleased with the design.The problem we do have with it is that there are many chairs where the back is too high for the seat to fit properly so one has to adjust it with a large book on the bottom to raise it.That said, it is still a nice chair but the design could use more improvement.

The First Years Newborn-to-Toddler Reclining Feeding Seat Review

We bought this chair 6 months ago when our son started eating cereal. I do home childcare, so we've seen alot of highchairs & boosters in my 9 years of doing this.This seat is nice because it's small but very roomy. Has few parts that will break. Is made well. Reclines. Has a machine washable seat pad. Dishwasher safe tray with big sides to help retain "windshield wiper" kid hands. I love this seat and can't recommend highly enough. I'd say the only thing missing is a 1-hand release button for the tray. But in my prior experiences, that & the seat pad are the first things that break.

Bumbo Baby Sitter - Lime Green Review

We ordered the Bumbo seat after seeing how much a friend's (smaller) baby enjoyed his.My son is 6 months old and is in the 75 percentile for height and weight, and he can sit up on his own.Despite being able to sit up on his own, this provides a safe and stable place for him to sit without me worrying about him.I've never seen him come close to tipping the chair over and he is very antsy. He doesn't get bored with sitting in it like he does his bouncy seat because it sits him upright, not reclined. We take the Bumbo where ever we are in the house so that my son can hang out with us.

The only drawback I see is that his fat little legs get wedged in the top of the leg holes.This seat is supposed to be suitable for children up to age 2, but I don't see this happening for our son.He is 18 lbs and 27 1/2" tall, and this chair might last him a couple more months before we can't get him in and out of it.I wish we had bought it sooner since it makes life more enjoyable for the whole family. I highly recommend this seat, just be warned that your child, if on the larger side, might outgrow it faster then you anticipated.
