Fisher Price High Chair: Blue Messeez High Chair Cover Size A Review

I LOVE this highchair cover.My Peg-Perego white leatherette chair pad was getting very worn, being on it's third child.I was shocked to find that a replacement was $70 - and refused to pay that - especially since the chair pad never wore well in the first place.I desperately wanted to find an improvement since my baby is entering the messy "feed yourself" phase.

I found this product online and decided it was worth a try, for $20.I was skeptical when I first received it.I had expected it to be padded, which it isn't.It's just a thin material, more like a parachute fabric.(I think the vendor could do a better job of clarifying this in their marketing materials.)But once I had it, it was worth a try.What do I think now, two months later?

This product is terrific.It's much easier to clean than trying to dig food out of all the nooks and crannies or rub stains off the other cover.Nearly all items wipe off really easily, or if there's a lot of food in the seat I merely take it off and shake it over the sink.The fabric is basically water-repellent so things don't seem to soak through - and if it does get wet it dries really quickly (and doesn't seem all sticky).Maybe it's the dark color I chose, but it never seems to look dirty.I do wash/dry it about once a week - and just pop it on again.(You probably could only wash and just let it air dry too - it's basically dry when it comes out of the wash.)It also fits the chair perfectly - they came up with a system of holes, velcro, etc that seems to work great for a variety of brands.Nice product design, Messeez!

This has made cleaning up after mealtimes a snap.(I don't dread it when my little guy has just had spaghetti, or self-fed himself yogurt anymore.)Total piece of cake.I think this may be the first Amazon review I've ever written - but feel strongly about this product.It's made something that was a chore I hated into something I don't even think about anymore.
