Prince Lionheart bebePod with Strap Review

Prince Lionheart bebePod with StrapI bought this for my baby girl to sit in when she was getting close to outgrowing the bouncy seat.I decided to buy this instead of the Bumbo because some reviews I read seemed to imply that the Bumbo had tighter leg openings so bigger babies would outgrown it.

I'm so glad I bought the bebePod because that was totally true.My daughter was 17lbs at 4 months, and the Bumbo we borrowed was pretty tight.Squeezing her in there was getting difficult and was also shifting her diaper, resulting in a lot of unpleasant blowouts. The bebePod fit her perfectly, with some room to spare. We hope to use it up through 6 months at least, or whenever she decides she doesn't want to sit still anymore.

That said, when she was smaller, the bebePod was too big - she'd lean over to one side and we had to prop her up with a blanket. If you have a smaller baby, the Bumbo might be a better option - it's a tighter fit, so supports the baby better on the sides.

I like the safety belt in the bebePod (the Bumbo doesn't have one) and the combination of bebePod + plain tray is cheaper than the Bumbo and its tray. However, I think the Bumbo might have better resale value since it's more popular.
