Fisher Price High Chair: SugarBooger Outerspace Jumbo Floor Splat Mat Review

I bought this product for one use but am using this for something totally different. I originally bought this for my 2 year old for a combination of under his chair/booster seat and in front of his play kitchen where he likes to add water to the sink and splash - I'm trying to protect our wood floors. They are both next to each other so I thought we could use them for both at once. Unfortunately, it's just a tad too small for that. If it were 1 or 2 square feet bigger, that may work. We tried to just use it for under the chair/booster at the table and we had difficulty unlike others. We were not able to slide the chair out easily. It was sticking to it and would pull it out with it. Maybe it was just too much weight with our chair and the booster. We then tried to put it in front of the play kitchen to catch all the water...but since the mat seems quite sticky with bare feet, he refused to go on it.

We finally found a use for it and we're super happy. My son likes to play with play-doh on the hardwood floor. His head barely pops above the table in his booster so the table doesn't work yet. I was tired of the floor getting play-doh marks and also getting in the cracks of each slat. So I put this mat down and we were both able to sit on it and play with the play-doh and all the fun accessories at once. :) I like how the mat is super durable. It will last for a long time. I imagine we can use it for a lot of floor crafts!
