The Badger Basket High Chair is a very disappointing product. The entire thing is made of hollow molded plastic. The hollow cross pieces are attached to the frame using a threaded plastic portion at either end. The only metal used to assemble the chair is a long rod that connects the chair back to the chair seat. This rod is not secured by any means, but rather rests in place. I mistakenly assumed that the product would be sturdier because of its price. I was mistaken. This product is not worth nearly the amount charged. I'd wager the manufacturing cost was under 10 USD. This product is an abuse of the free market.
